UBS Rogue Trader Has Some Explaining to Do

Ok so we all know about the story. Kweku Adoboli messed up big time, and as well all begin to wonder how does one lose $2 billion. Well it also reminds us of that day old tale of Nick Leeson, the one that screwed up big time. The guy that single handedly brought down the oldest merchant bank in the world, Barings Bank. THE bank that funded the Louisiana Purchase.

However, the losing this amount of money is not a shock. Once traders step on the floor they lose all realms of reality. Inside the trading floor it becomes almost like a game. Yes, all of these stocks and commodities have ties to real life, day to day operations of businesses. The floor is overflown with emotion and the desire to win. The trading floor is not real life, its a place you will do whatever it takes to win.
